If put within perspective that it was for charity and the guy is well off then it's not that big of a deal. Could have been more to be charitable. I've seen Rick Hendrick, the owner of a NASCAR race team bid and win well over a million dollars at a vehicle auction for charity. Not because the car was worth that amount, but because it was for charity and he could easily afford it.

Honestly that’s not that much for Tigers time. I dont imagine he gives many lessons to random folks. If I was OT rich I’d bid for it and I don’t play golf much.
