Update:
Multiple sources are reporting that Tom Herman has “agreed in principle” on new contract at Houston.

Original:
Josh Newberg with 247Sports is reporting that Houston's Tom Herman is interested in the open head coaching at Georgia now that Mark Richt was fired on Sunday.

Herman, who was the offensive coordinator on Ohio State's national championship team last year, has been a hot name in the current coaching carousel with his recent success in Houston.

The Cougars finished the regular season with a 11-1 record and will face Temple in the American Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday.

If he is then he was never going to be a long-term coach for LSU. Last thing we'd need is another Nick Saban who flirts with every opening every year. No job shoppers please.
