ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Georgia wide receiver coach Bryan McClendon is leaving Kirby Smart's staff to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator.

McClendon was a former wide receiver at Georgia and was on the Bulldogs staff from 2007 to 2017. He returned to Georgia's staff in 2021 after stops in South Carolina and Oregon.

I heard it's not a good look to take an NFL and leave a college job.

NIL and having to recruit against it is killing College Football. Wish BMac the best, but I don’t blame him at all for taking that opportunity. I hope he is very successful. DGD.

Can't blame these coaches to moving to the same position on NFL teams. It'll be equal to or more pay and you don't have to recruit. All of that extra time with family not recruiting but making the same money at minimum? Who wouldn't take it?
