He tried to do a maneuver (roll)and didnt have the speed to complete. He was still very high with plenty of recover time. Those type of ahutes a wind tubes and eventually forward motion forces reinflation.

Same thing happened to my buddy on a random jump. The guy tells him when they finally land we were about 5 seconds from having to cut that shoot and hitting the emergency one.
