Florida and head coach Todd Golden have reportedly agreed on a two-year extension to keep him in Gainesville through the 2029-30 season.

Golden has been Florida's head coach for the past two seasons and has the Gators headed to the NCAA Tournament. Per ESPN:

In his second year as coach, Golden has led the Gators to a 21-10 record and what will likely be their first NCAA tournament appearance since the 2020-21 season. Florida is a No. 7 seed in the latest projected bracket from ESPN's Joe Lunardi.

Golden took over at Florida after the 2021-22 season following three seasons at San Francisco. He has made $3 million annually under his initial Florida contract.
