Multiple sources reported Wednesday that the Arkansas Razorbacks are closing in on hiring South Florida head coach Alex Golesh.

Golesh has been at USF for three seasons, leading the Bulls to a 22-15 overall record. Before his time in Tampa, Golesh was Tennessee's offensive coordinator from 2021 to 2022.



USF Ceo Rob Higgins released the following statement on Wednesday afternoon regarding the speculation with Golesh.

Hogs joined the SEC in 1991 and started playing a full SEC schedule in '92. They have yet to win a conference title in football since joining. I hope that answers you question.
