Alabama head coach Nick Saban met with the media on Wednesday and talked about how the first practices with new offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian have gone so far.

Sarkisian has been on the staff for most of the season as an analyst but will call his first plays as offensive coordinator on Monday vs. Clemson in the CFP Title Game.

Just glad Kiffin isn't at LSU.

Of course players are responding well. He has coached them, game planned with them and communicated with them since he got there. This is of course a blatant violation of NCAA rules but no one cares. The idea that an offensive analyst that can not have contact with players can step in the week before the NC game and not miss a beat tells you everything you need to know about what Bama thinks of NCAA rules.

"Saban says Sarkisian knows the offense inside and out." Kiffin knows Saban's daughter inside and out.

What do you expect him to say? That the team is divided and disengaged?
