Nick Saban Is Down To Play Two Quarterbacks This Upcoming Season
© Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports
Alabama head coach Nick Saban has two starting quarterbacks at his disposal going into the 2018 season. On Thursday, he told ESPN’s Chris Low that he could play both Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts...
quote:

The most important thing is to play the best guy, and if both guys can play winning football, it’s not out of the question that we’ll find a role for both guys in fairness to both guys,” Saban told ESPN. “I don’t know that there’s any more to it than that.

When you have two quarterbacks you really have no quarterback.

Right...The Packers were totally screwed with Favre and Rodgers just as the Patriots had such issues having Brady and Jimmy G. The Eagles as well this year. Hmm, lots of championship teams with no QBs there.

Well in that case Lsu won the national championship in 2007 season football with no qb by your comment "pavoloco83"

I'm down for Saban playing a lot of fourth downs.

If Hurts believes this is anything other than a lie to keep him from transferring he dumber than I thought

If Saban pulls Tua for even one friggin play in favor of Hurts(other than maybe a goal line run)......then I'll have to assume that Saban is finally going senile.

Read this as “Nick Saban is down to PAY two quarterbacks this year “ hahaha

No he isn't. He just knows the value of having a backup QB with plenty of experience and doesn't want Hurts to transfer. Hurts will get plenty of action against inferior opponents and in garbage time, but Tua is the guy.

Agreed! I'm wondering how many Natties Saban has to win before people stop questioning his team management/coaching skills?
