"I broke my big right toe in August, and I had two big screws put in it right after I broke it," Coker told The Opening Kickoff on WNSP-FM 105.5. "Finally, I got them out on Friday. I'm dealing with that right now. I'm headed out to go work out with (QB Country's) David Morris right now, so it's not slowing me down too much."
He was asked, "You played the entire season last season with a broken toe?"
"It was good," he said. "At Alabama, they know how to do all that stuff, so it wasn't that big of a deal."
