Former Alabama quarterback Jake Coker joined The Opening Kickoff radio show on WNSP-FM 105.5 this week and revealed that he played last season with a broken toe. Per AL.com:
quote:

"I broke my big right toe in August, and I had two big screws put in it right after I broke it," Coker told The Opening Kickoff on WNSP-FM 105.5. "Finally, I got them out on Friday. I'm dealing with that right now. I'm headed out to go work out with (QB Country's) David Morris right now, so it's not slowing me down too much."

He was asked, "You played the entire season last season with a broken toe?"

"It was good," he said. "At Alabama, they know how to do all that stuff, so it wasn't that big of a deal."
Coker passed for 3110 yards with 21 touchdown and eight interception during the 2015 season.

Make up a guy winning a Natty on a broken toe? Maybe Jeremy should have broken something. Besides all your little AU hearts.
