Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian has been hired to be the new offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons.

He will replace Kyle Shanahan who is now the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers.

Sarkisian joins Alabama's staff this past season as an assistant coach but was promoted to offensive coordinator when Lane Kiffin took the FAU job.

He served as offensive coordinator for just one game; Alabama's 35-31 loss to Clemson in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

yea, maybe that'll happen, since they've lost only 11 games in the last 8 years.
