Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson will reportedly forgo his college eligibility to enter the 2026 NFL Draft.

Simpson, a junior from Martin, Tenn., threw for 3,567 yards with 28 touchdowns and five interceptions this past season, while leading the Crimson Tide to the CFP quarterfinals.

4th or 5th rounder. Will get cut midway through exhibition play.

Furthermore: would be smart of him to transfer to a lower P4 or G5 team another season.

Projecting 3rd QB taken. It sounds ridiculous to most people, but this is a very weak draft. He will be drafted on his potential not on what he has done. He will probably be a career backup, but that’s not always such a bad thing.
