Starting cornerback Trevon Diggs suffered a broken foot against Arkansas on Saturday and is out indefinitely, Nick Saban announced Monday.

Saban first learned about the injury on Sunday.

It's a big loss for the Crimson Tide.

In his first season as a starter, Diggs had been establishing himself as one of the SEC's top cornerbacks. Through six games, the junior has 20 tackles, an interception and a team-high six pass breakups.

I hate this. Dude is tall and long - something Saban wants now at CB. Hope he gets well soon.

We are now missing 6 defensive starters. Sound familiar? It's beginning to rear it's head. Sabans gonna coach his arse off till we get through this and get some back.
