To be fair to Kublanow not being as good as previous centers. We have had some pretty darn good centers under Richt. And some pretty good tackles I might add

Not totally on Eason. But, our playbook is not totally being used. It can't be. Eason has to be brought along slowly. I believe that is why we are having a bit more success now than at the start of the year

You don't hold back in the redzone. Points are too valuable. Agree to disagree. If you are correct, our coaching sucks.

When you continually bunch up at the LOS, bringing the TE's and WR's in tight to the formation, then run the ball up the middle every time....that is playcalling.

We haven't just run it up the gut. We literally have tried everything. And nothing works. Not up the gut. Not on the perimeter (more lost yardage when running to the perimeter in the redzone). Not with the wild dawg. Not with spread formations. We can't block in the redzone when the safeties and corners don't have deep responsibilities.

We truly are a bad team right now that has a lot of good things going for it. But the most important measure of a great team is where we are weakest (rushing TDs scored and rushing TDs allowed).
We will be more of the same next year unless the running game / goalline run defense improves.

We have. But being the worst talented center out of 16 years is a bad thing. Can't spin it positive for the team we have right now.

Actually, if your QB is unable to make the proper reads you do. It does no good to have the perfect play if your QB does not have the experience to make the proper decision. That's not really on the QB or the coach. it's just a part of the game. And again...I am guessing. none of us know exactly what is going on in the locker room/practice field/huddle.

Not every time. But we do that more than just about any other formation down on the goal line. Or, maybe it just seems that way.

Ironic. I would guess when I was roundly criticizing the coaching staff you were probably defending them. Now that I feel like we have made progress and have improved...I am more optimistic and you don't seem to be.

I don't blame the coaching staff for our inability to run the football or to stop teams at the goaline from running on us.

It is their job. But they are overcoming years of poor roster management.

If we can't improve next year, then we are going to have the same level of success. I don't care if we suck with a 1st yr HC and true frosh QB. But next yr, it won't be right.
