Alabama has 14 Round of 32 appearances while UAB has 7. Alabama has 20 NCAA Tournament appearances while UAB has 15. Alabama has won their conference tournament 6 times while UAB has won theirs 5 times. Alabama has won their conference's regular season championship 7 times while UAB has won theirs 6 times.
So...yeah, UAB doesn't literally own anything.

I just thank God that when people shoot up college bars on the strip in Tuscaloosa that God was looking out for the victims. It's a miracle that out of the 18 people, mostly Alabama students, no vital organs were hit.
If you want to show everybody on this board what a shitty person you are by using loss of human life caused by montgomery trash rolling through town, then by all means. Hope you feel good about yourself.

This is getting out of hand.
I think we all agree this basketball series will be a good thing.
Aside from that, all this drug/murder junk is really tasteless and you are right, it is just about as bad as making fun of tornado damage.

My ideal would be a tournament held in Birmingham with Auburn, UAB, and Bama headlining against the other state schools like Troy, Jacksonville State, Alabama State, A&M, ect. The games are being played anyway so why not combine them in a big tourney at the BJCC after the SECCG to highlight basketball in the state of Alabama? I think it would become a very big deal annually and be fun for the entire state
The entire country would be enthralled by an Alabama state college basketball tournament.

Brilliant post. Kentucky,North Carolina,Indiana play state schools within their respective states but you pansies won't play UAB.
