Can we just sell UAB to the Auburn system and let it be AUB? At least then AU could marry it and could quit giving it BJ's.

I wouldn't have a problem if Auburn played Troy, Samford, and South Alabama every year in football. Keep the $$$ in state and help those programs. Alabama would never help a small in state school though with all those dirt bag BOT members they have.

At least we're secure enough in who we are that we are not threatened by UAB. Unlike the sandy vaginas down the road in Tuscaloosa.

I didn't realize there was a difference on whether small programs rented a win to an instate school or not. I forgot that Alabama's money is worth more to south Alabama than Mississippi states money

My ideal would be a tournament held in Birmingham with Auburn, UAB, and Bama headlining against the other state schools like Troy, Jacksonville State, Alabama State, A&M, ect.
The games are being played anyway so why not combine them in a big tourney at the BJCC after the SECCG to highlight basketball in the state of Alabama? I think it would become a very big deal annually and be fun for the entire state

Reminds me of how AU has always wanted to play the top schools in the SEC like Florida and Georgia and how that other school has always ducked them to try and pad their stats.
