In terms of nationally all time he would definitely be on a top 10 list, but in terms of SEC coaches, I do not think he would belong. Good find though. I had to look him up.

Dooley is overrated to be honest. Richt has a better winning percentage than Dooley did at that point in his career. Richt is just the coach that has all the ingredients, but just can't bake the cake. Now if he finally gets BCS then Richt>>Dooley Imo.

Dooley also had more SEC championships than Richt does now.

I'm surprised so many people rank Dooley ahead of Vaught. Vaught has more wins, a higher winning percentage, and a better bowl record than Dooley and he did it at a lesser program.

Ole Miss and Georgia were similar programs to that point in time. The Ole Miss program just never adjusted to integration.

Because Spurrier has not finished his career. When he retires and maybe gets another Championship he'll be top three easily.

Nope. He needs one more championship for me to put him in the top three. He's a great coach and was a great player but I think he needs one more NC.

Bear and Saban have done the most, automatic top two.

He also went to the National Championship 3 years in a row and lost twice with possibly the greatest college runningback of all time. Richt is a better recruiter too, I just think some of us Dawgs are so horny for a BCS championship that we won't take Richt seriously until he does something.

Your right. I am a little biased though.

I'm curious as to why so many have spurrier ahead of Saban.
I get that Spurrier dominated the SEC in the 90s and changed the way SEC defenses had to prepare, but he did that while LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, and most of the rest of the SEC was stuck in mediocrity. Since he has been back, he has changed the culture in South Carolina, but he has yet to win a title.
Saban on the other hand has made his current run during the most dominant era in SEC history. He personally has done little to revolutionize the SEC - a case for the 3-4 could be made - but winning SEC and National titles is worth much more.

Bryant is #1 just based on how much he won at UK lol.

Of coaches that have coached a minimum of 100 games, Les Miles has the highest winning %

Johnny Majors and no Nick Saban. Not even worth comparing. Bad list.
