Rank 'em. For me, it's:

1. Bear Bryant- Kentucky/Alabama
2. Robert Neyland- Tennessee
3. Steve Spurrier- Florida/South Carolina
4. Vince Dooley- Georgia
5. Johnny Vaught- Ole Miss
6. Nick Saban- LSU/Alabama
7. Frank Thomas- Alabama
8. Shug Jordan- Auburn
9. Pat Dye- Auburn
10. Johnny Majors- Tennessee

What say you?

I think Meyer and Fulmer would be the next two.

Meyer won 2 NC's at UF. Interesting list with some that cannot say the same.

Spurrier won 4 straight SEC Championships

He completely revolutionized this league

Not saying he's 3rd best, or even better than Saban (due to NCs), but has Saban ever even won tSEC in back-to-back years?? Much less 4 straight?

Petrino should be right behind Saban. Think of the hardware he brought Arkansas.

Probably a coach with a lower winning percentage in the SEC and less NC.

I think Bryant and Spurrier are at the top, but to not have Saban in the top 3 is comical. The guy has 4 SEC titles and is working on his 4th national title. Saban could easily match Spurrier for SEC titles and Bryant for National titles by the time he is done.
