He already has the moving company lined up. I have never been worried until I read that. Way too much detail, he gone.

Good point. There is a very close second. That is the UF fan base about Meyer. The constant obsession of those jorts on their football team causes Meyer to have heart palpitations. No wonder he wanted to get the hell outta there.

Out of curiosity, what makes you think les Miles doesn't like living in Louisiana?

That doesn't anger me, it's just a dumb thing to say. Alabama doesn't have any more resources that LSU has. The jobs are pretty comparable actually. Alabama has just been very fortunate to have made much better coaching hires than LSU has over the years.

To the extent that there is a difference, it's in what we saw here in Baton Rouge a few weeks ago. there would have been no hesitation to put Les out on his arse in Tuscaloosa. So i'll give you that.

I'm just so angry right now. I'm not trying to be a grammar Nazi, but I cannot stand the word "ain't."

I for one, as a diehard LSU fan, welcome Saban staying in the SEC West. It makes every year challenging and we have to beat the best to win the division.

different strokes for different folks- given the option between anywhere Alabama and anywhere Louisiana I know where I am going lol.

I think there is some deep rooted desire to think that what matters to you as fan matters to a coach. I think if you are at a top 10-20 program as a coach that isn't your college you probably don't really care if you are at XYZ State or ZZZ Tech. You just a person doing a job. That is just my guess.

His mom moved from Myrtle Beach to BIRMINGHAM?

Are there any issues of senility?

I was here too.

Outside of the lunatic fringe, there was no call to replace Bryant except for maybe a few lunatic fringe The 5 years before he retired were some of the best in his entire career. To say otherwise isn't merely revisionist history, it falls into the fiction alternate history world.

Yea, 53 year old Nick Saban in year 4 at LSU is pretty much the same situation as 64 year old Nick Saban in year 9 at Alabama.

I dunno, I think Birmingham is a dump but I'd have it at a toss up with Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach is the worst.

Did you spot the pattern yet?

He moved his mom to all of those places?
