Good Lord. Alabama was just coming off of major probation of 5 years with recruiting penalties and a ridiculous coaching carousel. Bama was the laughing stock of the SEC before Saban took over.


LSU fans won't accept that he walked into a lot of talent at LSU. Dinardo could recruit very well and Saban's first SEC championship was with his players. Saban at LSU and Saban at Bama are two different coaches. He was humbled by the NFL and made his drive even stronger when he went back to college.

Some of you poor Gumps need to get out of your parents's basement every now and then. You're on here 24/7. Its a big world out there. Not everybody is obsessed with Alabama. try it sometime.
