I cast chicken bones to see and they fall poorly for Mullen. Much better for others we all know. Very good arrangement for one coach in particular.

UF didn't want Mullen. UG does apparently. Big difference.

Chip Kelly and Grantham would be almost like twins.

Chris Peterson from Boise. His system would fit UGA perfect

Mullen will leave for UGA if offered the right $$. He'd be a fool not to. If he has to, he can pull an HDN and 'resign' first and then accept the UGA job.

Nothing anyone can do to stop him, Slive included.

All that being said, I don't see Mullen as the next UGA coach. I think UGA will either go for a higher-profile coach, or an OOC up-and-comer.

I love seeing this time after time

"UF didnt want Mullen"
"______ school can do better than Mullen"

Yey in just 3 short seasons, everybody in the United-freaking-States ranks the once bottom-feeder program Mullen took over as a better team than Fla. This after he beat Fla in The Swamp last year.

You guys need a new party line- that one just makes you look dumb.

This is your party line - We beat one of UF's worst teams in over 20 years.

If you can't fathom that UF didn't want Mullen then I don't know what to tell you.

The fans didn't want him and Foley didn't want him. It really is that simple.

However, UG appears to want him. Good for him and them. It still doesn't change the fact that UF didn't want him.

Maybe you can stand by the notion that Miami wanted him.

ETA: Why does it bother you so much that UF didn't want Mullen? It's good for you isn't it?

UF didn't want the tard. He beat a team reminiscent of a Zook team. Not impressive.

but we beat you mf'ers all the time...4-4 the last 8 meetings...We have absolutely embarrassed teams that you have brought into Starkville.

I can understand you not wanting Mullen because of his personality or whatever- but the fact he has taken a conference doormat and beaten your arse with them and also gets them more praise nationally means you probably should be quiet about that. It makes you look dumb- especially telling other schools not to hire him

10-7 is an arse beating? Hmmm. I've never said that about a team we've beaten by three. It must be a MSU thing.

No doubt MSU gives us fits. So does OM. Big deal. It's probably the MS water.

I hope UG hires Mullen. I've said it in this thread.

Why do I care if MSU gets praise. Good for MSU.

If UGA hired Mullen, Alabama, Florida St, Auburn, Florida and South Carolina would be very happy.

Nah, coonass is just the worst of the worst.

He thinks Mullen should be desired by all but stay loyal to MSU because his wife like Starkville and they are very happy there.

He isn't in the minority of MSU posters though, that's the problem. There are 3 or 4 shitty ones for every decent one.

I hope you really arent that stupid.

Mullen is a very hot commodity out there right now because of what he is doing at State.

He is very happy at State
He is one of the 15 highest paid coaches in college football
He is becoming a Mississippi Folk Hero- and thinks he can be successful enough at State to get a statue built of him.
He has State in the top 20

But there are only 12-14 jobs out there that could possibly hire him away. SEC money and prestige matters.

We disagree on this. I think the number is more like 8-10.

Consider the schools that have made a run at him over the last few years, seems like it would take a Texas or Ohio State to get him to leave. I also don't consider SEC schools for the reasons previously mentioned.

In all honesty, I think his eye is on the Penn St. job.
