Moo state-HA!

What a knee slapper, a barn burner if you will. Do you laugh at the uncultured heathens in Starkville when you're back from dinner and a midnight play? I bet you're sipping a Sazerac right now. Oh, you central Louisiana people are so sophisticated.

Mullen won't go to Georgia, or any other SEC team for that matter. Slive won't let that happen.

He's let it be known he doesn't want SEC teams stealing each other's coaches. That isn't good for the SEC as a whole, which is where his focus is.

Besides, we act like SEC coaches jump from school to school years, but in fact it rarely ever happens. That's why.

The last coach to leave one SEC for another was Tubbs. That was like 14(?) years ago?

You can always tell the people who don't have a clue about the University of Georgia. He would not be on a list of their top 20. Neither would CGM. They will NOT hire a coordinator. They will open the banks once he is gone. The pressure will be too hot.

doubt Mullins gets the call to Athens. remember McGarity will know everything about him like Foley, and Foley never considered him at UF.

good- because we are 16th

Mullen has shown everyone what State can be with the right coach

And with the SEC expanding and becoming a Superconference, you can damn well bet coaches want an SEC head job.

I dont even think he did that. Just got a new job. Whether he was going to be fired or not, that doesn't matter. He left one SEC team and went to another.

What was incorrect about that? Houston Nutt was unemployed when OM hired him.

Tubbs is the last football coach to be hired away from one SEC school to another. That wasn't under Slive's watch. I can't even think of who would be before Tubbs.

So, once in 20 years or so? It's not good for busienss. And yes, he will have a choice too.

you may want to ask Tenn about that- they wanted to interview Mullen before they hired Dooley- Slive told them no. I dont think he tells Tenn no, then turns around and lets Georgia do it

But either way- we will have a damn good replacement
