it is even dumber to think that we won't hire patterson because our AD's mentor hired 2 young coaches

They think guys like Patterson are going to be knocking down the door begging to be hired. That is more than likely complete bullshite, but let them dream. Chances are they will hire a young up and coming HC or a well respected coordinator that hasn't been given a chance as a HC yet. The home run hires very very rarely happen.

Why would Patterson leave TCU for UGA? Is it really a better job than TCU at this point? I'm not so sure it's. He has been adamant about staying in Ft. Worth for quite some time. He hasn't budged when it has come to job openings in the past.

ok, i thought originally thought georgia wanted kirby as HC back in '09. what they really wanted was a DC. Now that they might offer him the HC, it's still possible that could be enough to sway him from bama. that's why i think he's going to georgia next year.

Ya you might, but its not like you're gonna have the power to go out and make a Saban level hire. UT thought they could too. Saying that Kirby will not be on the list to replace him is ridiculous. He absolutely will be, whether UGA fans are done being butthurt about him not coming last year, or not.
