Serious question: When was the last time an SEC head coach left his job for another job? Not like a Saban or Spurrier situation.

You guys really think Mullins would not leave MSU for UGA? You honestly believe there is no chance of that happening at all?

You never say never- but unless our AD just flat out lied- Georgia wont have the chance to hire Mullen

It's not good for the SEC for schools to "cannibalize potential and success".

In 20 years it's only happened once or so, and never under Slive. There's a reason for that.

I don't know about what our AD or Slive says about the situation, but I have it on very good authority, from people that really do know the situation, that Mullen will not leave for the UGA job. I am not saying he will not leave MSU at some point, but he will not leave directly for UGA in the foreseeable future.

You folks can take it however you want to. Most of you people from other fanbases, that a largely uninformed on the issue, will think Mullen leaves every time there is an opening. Think what you want, but most of you folks are the same ones that said Mullen would leave for Florida, Michigan, Miami, so forth and so on.

I hope Mullen goes to UGA as well. The state of Georgia will get plucked more than it already is, for top instate talent. Please let it happen.

based on what?

Good way. He has been around a winning program for so long, you have to think he has just soaked up a ton of knowledge.

yeah. He has never been a coach before so I doubt he gets a call but I think he is a guy UGA should at least look into. Hopefully we won't have to go my 4th choice though.

He must have taken a class because it was not the case during his time in FL. Good for him if he improved.

Georgia can do better than Mullen. The thing with Mullen recruiting at Florida was his attitude.

I bet if Georgia ponied up the $$$ they could get Chip Kelly from Oregon.

Kelly is seeing the writing on the wall after the LSU game. After all his work, he'll never recruit the kinds of players we have in the SEC. If you can't beat them, join 'em.

Besides, I think he'd fit their program pretty well.
