How is that funny. LSUs AD brought in 130 million in revenues last year. That is 6th best in the country

What about Brent Venables. Sure he didn't make a lateral move from Clemson DC to LSU DC, but what if he were HC. We would get a good HC who is a great Defensive guy. I know he would love to get his hands on all that talent at LSU.

I don't think he is a more natural fit than Jimbo Fisher, but hey you would be surprised how many coaches would come out of the wood work to put their name in the hat for the LSU coaching job.

Don't get me wrong I do like Les Miles. He is a great guy. He turned down the Michigan job like what 2-3 times. I definitely admire his loyalty.

Either way it will be a tough situation.

Another Bama fan desperate to see LSU keep Les Miles. What a surprise. When your enemies want you to keep your coach, it's time to get rid of him.

Most of us want you to fire him just so we can laugh like hell in January when you are going after your 5th choice.

I'm just trying to tell you, you can't do any better.

You can win at Miami with just south Florida talent if you lock it up.

If Miami updated their facilities, paid the going rate for coaches, and attracted the crowds back to their games then yeah it would be a better job than LSU.

None of those 3 things are currently happening though.

Their facilities are in the process of massive upgrades, they do need to pay better, and just like Southern Cal which is unquestionably better than LSU in every single way... Crowds don't matter when your city isn't boring as shite like Baton Rouge.

Crowds would be the last of the 3. I would never argue that LSU would be a better job than Miami or USCw if they were paying top dollar for coaches and facilities. But is football a top priority for either of those universities? I'm not sure.

Gratifying to see the Tigers occupying so much cranial real estate in Alabama. Rivalry verified.

You guys are in for a reality check if you think you can get a better coach than Les.

I think you need a reality check if you don't think LSU can do better than the Les Miles of TODAY who just stands on the sideline and does nothing while LSU gets penalty after penalty, milks the clock down multiple scores while calling the same predictable plays over and over and calls timeouts down three scores with seconds left in the game in consecutive weeks making everyone watching scratch their heads.

Miles has had a great run and I don't like the way they're handling the situation, but I completely understand while they're looking for a change for the future. Hiring a new coach is always a gamble, but Miles finished 5th in his division of the Big 12 when we hired him and his highest finish was 3rd in his division. He turned out okay.

You're about to fire your winningest coach in school history who's biggest mistake is HE ISN'T NICK SABAN. Sure we are the ones obsessing?

It certainly would be quite difficult which is exactly what a portion of the fan base is trying to tell this group. It can get worse. Some of us actually lived it.
