If defensive guys are getting hurt, so are offensive guys.

Just like AU. We line up in the same fashion and then run multiple plays out of the same formation.

Checkers have pieces that are limited in the movement of them.

Therefore this is not speed chess, running 4-5 plays as fast as possible is checkers not chess.

4-5 plays that can each be run 4-5 ways. Your analogy is shite.

Explain to me why you think teams that lack an organized sideline deserve a handicap?? If you aren't a smooth machine all the way from play calling and scheme to player subs then gfy you aren't deserving of a win, pre-snap or post-snap.

Maisel is missing THE point... you still have to line up & execute the plays.

His reasoning, however, is stupid. Apparently the strategy involved in running a HUNH offense is over his head.

Doubtful. The "strategy" is pretty obvious. Try to snap the ball before the defense is ready to play. Some may call it brilliant while others might call it chickenshit. I'm not here to judge.

You think it's chickenshit to try to get the defense to jump offsides too? What if they do jump offsides and the offense snaps the ball while they aren't ready? That chickenshit too?

now whose fault is that?

11 players ready, the othe 11 can't be? Why?

and if you really want people to believe you're not judging, avoid terms like chickenshit.

Obviously you are.

So, it's only considered a strategy if both teams are ready, the ball has been checked, and the agreed upon hiking count is set?

Apparently the element of surprise is no longer a strategy to these guys

Quick, everyone tell the Taliban they are a bunch of chickenshits for their strategies!

Just to make sure I'm clear. You just compared your team to the Taliban. Is that right?

Not at all. Just pointing out the absurdity of the idea that trying to catch your opponent off guard is not a strategy.

So you are one of those whiny pussys that think we need a break after every play.

So you were comparing your team's strategy to the Taliban's? They are some pretty underhanded bastards, you know?
