You mean become something else by keeping the rules as they are?

Is what it is, but the refs are having a hard time with it as well, I do believe that to be so.

Huh? How is operating within the rules making it something else?

This sounds like old timers arguing that the forward pass was against the spirit of the game

complete bullshite analogy. the forward pass has absolutely nothing to do with snapping the ball before the defense is ready or preventing the defense from substituting.

this is made up and you know it.

I don't know how much to attribute that to the HUNH or the fact that refs are generally pretty bad in the SEC

Saban is a pussy. thats all. he cant coach against the HUNH so he is legislating it. Bert we know is pathetic, but I didnt seriously expect full menstrual cycle on Bamas part. Some whining yes, trying to process what he cant coach against is another story. What a puscatore.

I'm waiting on baseball to get rid of that bullshite "wait on the batter to get in the box" rule. It's absurd that the pitcher has to give the batter a chance to get set and let the batter dictate the pace of the game

I just can't grasp what is wrong with speeding up the pace of the game to tire out the defense to give your offense an advantage? Why the hell do I have to allow the defense to sub when I have my same 11 on the field? This is why coaches watch film and devise schemes to GAIN AN ADVANTAGE, who said what happens schematically has to be fair? And remember my team doesn't run it and we stop it, I just find the fricking whining pathetic. I mean your Alabama and Nick Saban, watch film, coach it up and find a way to beat the scheme.

Hey I'm an lsu fan jack! I just think it's pussy football to run up there and snap the ball before the defense has a chance to get set or substitute. I don't want football to become a game where 65-62 is a normal final score.

If I run up on the pitchers mound and throw 3 strikes across the plate before Miguel Cabrera can get in the batters box does that make me a better baseball player than him?

Any Coach that can't man up and deal with HUNH should take some meds and the menstral cramps will be over soon.

Really, that is your comparison? Exactly how long should it take a defender to find his position and get in his stance?

Dear jeesus on a sybian. The "spirit" of the game??? Football is not a "game" it is a contest. "Winning" is the only reason for a contest. The anti HUNH faction is just pissed that instead of players geting bigger and faster they are getting faster and better. Fast and small will beat fast and big 8/10 times. If these coaches were really worth their paychecks they would start "conditioning" their players better. Look at 2011 LSU. they had to start off against Oregon, The LSU players were in better condition, overall, than any other LSU team I can remember. It is possible to have fast, conditioned and smart players on both sides of the line.
PS someone take away the quotation key.

Your coach has found something he can't stop. He's trying to use his influence to stop it. He knows when Gus gets a full complement of his guys in there, there will be no way he can beat AU. It's really that simple.
