Should a defending BCS champion have such low expectations? Serious question.

when the team has the personell turnover that we have - then yes - the expactation should be considerably lower.
only the absolute most delusional fans say we were gonna win more than 7 or 8 - optomistically.

Why was the turnover so high? Was last year just a one year shot for Auburn? I just don't see how they'll compete with Bama and LSU in years to come. Better question might be, what would Auburn's record have been last year without Cam?

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet ScoopandScore, he has discovered time travel and comes to us from roughly 9 months ago.

Go back to the Poli Board. These topics have already been discussed. GTFO if you are just going to ask rhetorical questions in an attempt to flame.

Me thinks Auburn fan has head buried in the sand. Makes the impending meltdown even sweeter.

One year removed from a BCS championship, and Auburn looks like it may be irrelevent for many years to come. They might lose by 20+ to both LSU and Bama this year. Doesn't look good imo.
1. We will only be improving from this year for the next few years.
2. Auburn doesn't lose any relevant players this year.
3. Ted Roof will be gone.
4. The coaching staff is still recruiting at a top 5 level.
5. We knew we were supposed to suck this year.
6. Our schedule will not be as difficult as it is this year for the next couple because we will lose Florida and South Carolina off and get UT and Vandy.

I missed that discussion obviously. But today is Monday morning following the 3rd game of the season. I think this question is right on point now.
To me it seems like Auburn might have some major issues. Wanted to get some insight from those closer to the program. But apparently it's all good. No worries from the barn.

We were playing with a boat load of underwhelming Tuberville seniors, save Josh Bynes, Nick Fairley, and Mike Blanc. Now were playing with a boat load of under-performing frosh talent.

now your just trolling because you can.
last year was a sort of perfect storm for AU - we had so much experience that it was our best possible shot to win it all. it happens that way to teams from time to time. everyone goes through a rebulding period - this year is ours.
as for the Cam question - it really is not pertinant to your origional question and has already been widely speculated on here many times.

Me thinks you don't have a clue about what you are talking about.
68% of scholarship players are RSOs or younger.

I think if you take Cam Newton off that team you don't win very much. just my opinion
Do Auburn fans not feel this way?

What difference does it make? They had Cam.

you can;t keep changing the questions to fit your flame attempts and expect many on here to take you seriously. you asked a question, and cause you didnt get the answer you wanted - you opted to fall back on the CAM questions.
who honestly cares - it has happened he is gone - you should let it go.

Yes we agree, everyone agrees, this has ben talked about for a year. Take any BEST player of any great team and see how they do. They will suffer. But thanks for the common sense.
Stop trolling.

What is that, redshirt sophomore or younger?
So a couple questions:
1. Why is that the case? Recruiting missteps?
2. Why is that a problem? I would like to see same % for Bama and LSU. Just seems like LSU is playing a lot of soph and freshmen as well.
