My question is - do they think LSU improved that much from last season or that the division is just weaker?

I know I can't believe the dumbasses went that far off their rocker.

TAMU winning the SEC? No amount of coaching from Chavis will save that defense.

Please tell me you didn't honestly think they'd pick Arkansas, right? Only 2 sec wins in 2 years where yall finished last in the west both times...There are only three teams primed to put up a legitimate fight in the west this year and thats Bama, Auburn and LSU. Arkansas and Ole Miss will put up a few fights here and there but they just aren't on the same level.

This season will be interesting. I still think bama is the team to beat in the west and then auburn, LSU, and Arky are all pretty even although the hogs and auburn have a little tougher schedule than LSU so maybe a slight advantage to LSU. I think moo state and ole miss will compete as well but lose some close ones and while aTm will be improved defensively, chavis lives and dies with corners who can cover, and they just don't have that yet. I'm interested to see the Aggies against ASU to open bc they can score. Just glad we're finally a week away. It's gonna be a wild ride bitches, let's have some fun!!!!

Probably both. All we need is average QB play for a drastic improvement and to make these predictions reasonable. Sure, you have reason to be skeptical this will occur (I certainly am), but it's not like a whole lot has to fall into place for us to be a contender.

Sorry to hear that guys. I had a good feeling that if LSU found an offense they would be exceptionally dangerous this year but the Corso Kiss of Death is now in effect.

On the plus side if y'all do wind up winning the SEC and making the playoffs you can boast that you were one of the few teams to do so despite Corso giving you his blessing.

Agree with all that.

LSU wins the West, though.

Kirk's prediction that Oklahoma will make the playoffs didn't seem that credible. Oklahoma was horrible on both sides of the ball in the bowl game against Clemson. not sure how you can project them into the playoffs until they show something in the regular season.

lsu seems like a reach too unless they have a new qb

The last 2015 game that I would pick as a barometer for 2016 success is a bowl game.
