Apparently Herbie picked Arkansas to win it just last week, and has suddenly flipped his pick. I'm not sure where he did this pick, so some research may be required. I only saw the thread about it on another site that shall not be named.

Edit: apparently he was "leaning" towards picking the Hogs as of 2 weeks ago. From the looks of the aforementioned thread, it was on ESPN radio. I, for one, am glad he did not ultimately pick us. Kiss of death indeed.

If so, that's quite the flip-flopping he's doing.

No, European soccer is really cultured for having me as a fan.

Wow. That was cruel of them to do that.

Now I wonder who's gonna be more disappointed with the way things play out this season - Tennessee or LSU.

Considering your QB situation is actually worse than ours I'd keep out of this discussion if I were a bama fan

We're gonna be fine, whoever our QB is. LSU on the other hand is setting themselves up for disappointment...which has become a yearly occurrence for them.

Considering we're brining back more than we have since 2011, why shouldn't we be confident?

Be confident. Be as confident as you were on 01/08/12.

I really want Tennessee to be more disappoint, but your response causes me concern.

I dunno about that but the schedule is relatively favorable.

Florida and Auburn at home, Bama on the road. That's where they win most of their games against those opponents. The Arkansas game a week after Alabama is a little tricky but overall it is a relatively favorable schedule... especially with how weak the OOC schedule is for a change.

I'd think Bama would be relatively down for them with their turnover but we'll see. Auburn is interesting with Gus and Boom, I could easily see them turning into something special by the end of the year. I'd be surprised if the Chief turns around A&M's defense in year one. I'd expect them to make a bigger jump in the second year with more of his guys installed by then.

If you have something substantive to say then let's hear it. Otherwise you're just making yourself look bad.

Okay...I will discuss LSU's situation relative to Bama's, and will not delve into why you will lose to us, AU, and Arkansas at minimum, and will finish 3-5 in conference.

Your two 'proven' QBs are essentially as proven as ours. Possibly a tiny advantage at RB to LSU, but if Drake is fully back (and he seems to be) and Harris is the real deal, the advantage swings back to Bama. WRs - advantage LSU. TE - Bama. Defensive front seven - Bama by a wide margin. DBs - with the way our young guys are looking in practice, I will actually give this unit to Bama as well. PK, LSU. Punting, Bama.

Do I look a shade better now?

Considering it didn't happen because of that report and Nick was all set to come home to BR you should take Kirk out for a steak dinner every time he's in TTown
