that doesn't make much sense. they just weren't that good and no games have been played since then. why would you project them into the playoffs, and over TCU or Baylor?

Yet y'all are picked to win the ACC and most of your fanbase is making the assumption that by winning the ACC y'all will earn a berth in the playoffs....but when teams from the best conference in the nation are projected to do the same and not just by their fanbase but also by impartial sportscasters, you spout off how that makes no sense bc no games have been played yet.

Hypocritical much?

LSU isn't a hard team to pick. Sure, they had QB trouble last season, but look at it this way- you're projecting that a highly regarded recruit (Harris) makes a big progression from his 1st year to his second.

Johnny Manziel, Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston- they all won Heismans, but redshirted their first year, and then looked great the following season. I seriously doubt Harris wins the Heisman, but he actually had to play instead of getting to sit. And he did show promise.

The West is ridiculous this year, just about anybody could win it if things go their way but given what LSU is bringing back if you don't think they have as good a chance as anybody then you're just not paying attention.

From Aug. 2014:

Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit both predicted Alabama will win the SEC title game this season.

nothing you say makes any sense.

i don't think that any Clemson fan has assumed we would win the ACC and if we win the ACC that means we are into the championship.

But if we win the ACC that means we beat a lot of good and solid teams. Clem plays at Lousiville, at Miami, at NC State, at South Carolina, has FSU, G Tech, ND at home. it is a solid schedule.

i have not projected clemson into playoffs. but i think clemson is much better than okloma is right now and it makes more sense to project clemson than oklahoma.

THe SEC West and tthe Pac South will cause the demise of many a prognosticator. These divisions are loaded and are almost impossible to get it right.
