So the best the 3rd greatest coach could muster is a single trip to Atlanta. It's a good thing you're a baseball school.

I rather be a South Carolina fan and have our lack of football success than be from Alabama and cheer for what is associated with that team/state.

What's associated with that team and state?

We need to call in a pattern consultant like on Pawn Stars. I still don't think it's hounds tooth. It's just a similar pattern.

Yeah, I guess it was Chris Shenkel who described his hat as houndstooth and it stuck.
I remember him always wearing a tartan plaid pattern.
Have seen plenty of houndstooth patterns in photos of people with no Bama connections lately...
Thank us Gumps for modern fashion savvy.

Before we get to that point let me remind everyone he was an abusive drunk whose main talent was to be the biggest and most overbearing a-hole on the field. In the modern era he would not be a college coach (as any respectable program would have fired him for his antics) but he would be an ambulance chaser as that is the last line of work that tolerates that level of a-holery.

You have no idea what you are talking about dip shite.
Have you ever talked to anyone who played for him? I have....many. They all after all these years revere him.
He is still "Coach" to them.

I think in this thread if I have proven anything it is if you say bad things about the Bear Bama fans will come out of the woodwork to attack you.

All you've done in this thread is prove you're a racist and attack a great coach for the sake of provocation. You have said nothing you have personal knowledge of. There isn't a shred of evidence Bryant ever uttered a racist word, committed a racist deed, or conspired to stop or slow integration. From every appearance Bryant actively worked from inside his sphere of influence to speed up integration.

Your ad hominem attacks are abhorrent and say far more about you than Bryant. Attacking a great coachs legacy on the anniversery of his death to liken him to the scum of the earth only proves that you are the scum of the earth. I know enough about you to know I would never want to meet, speak, or share air with you. I know enough about Bryant to know he was a great leader of men: honorable, and revered by those closest to him - proof positive you are full of sh*it and YOU the real racist in this dialogue.

You may very well be the biggest dumbass to ever post on the Internet.

If Bryant was such a racist drunk, yall should count your blessings. Imagine how many times he would have kicked your teams arse with better players and sober.

I love revisionist history said nobody ever. Guys that weren't even alive stating opinions about Bryant based on what they've heard or want to believe. ..smh.

Paul Bryant was the greatest Coach ever, period.. When Saban gets 6, they'll be tied.

You don't know what you're talking about. You are either a young punk kid or a total dipshit. The guy that trained me at my current job won 2 national championships in the 70's playing for Coach Bryant. He's a older black man born and raised during segregation and he talks about Coach Bryant with great reverence like he was his second father. Learn some respect or go suck a dick frickstick.

The truth is that usc lost several games that year to almost or all white teams and Alabama as well. The bullshite behind this belief is epic in its lack of fact.

Bama just wasn't a good team that season
