32 carries times 6 yards per carry is 192 yards
Add in his 38 yards receiving and that is 230 yards
Math is hard, I know
And math is racist
DH would have had 490 yards. ;)

Lets add a few other stats instead of your cherry picked ones...
Percent of teams total offense
NC 47% 32 touches
LF 69% 26 touches
So lets say we swap LF and NC this week and see who hits the mother load. LF is fricked in this piss-poor offense Les has rolled out. Fournette has an 8 row plow strapped to his back.
FTR, You wont find any posts of me bashing Chubb of Dalvin Cook for that matter. Top notch guys.

Actually, UGA fans leaned on that one Chubb's freshman year as their bell cow, fwiw.
And I do think its a huge thing, but you have to have a lot of carries for it to matter. But you know that, you're just being a tool.
Eh, no more a tool than LSU fans who actively tried to down play everything Henry ever did in pads.

That's better, and yes, that did catch my attention.

But I mean...based on the obviously small sample size of 1 game...I think most across the country would agree that NC looked better.
I'd agree, to an extent. I think many would also say that no back in the country, including Chubb, would be successful in the shitshow LSU displayed on Saturday.
Not against a good defense.

This thread is literally titled Chubb vs. Fournette after Week 1.
What are you even doing in here?

Lets check them both at the end of the season, then compare totals.

Excuse me sir, 222 actually IS > 138.

Chubbs game wasnt actually that much better than Fournette, if at all.
Well in addition to running for more yards he scored 2 more TDs than LF and iced the victory for his team

While 6.0 is struggling
that .94 per carry is the difference between great and struggling?

Did other schools fans go too far in the other direction regarding Henry? Absolutely. Welcome to the SEC rant, pretty much everyone is a dumbass.

Agreed.
And it can be more than accounted for when you look at the opponent's rushing defense.

4.) LSU has the worst offense in the NCAA
Bingo
However, Harris will probably throw for 500 yards and L7 rush for another 400 in a couple of weeks.

So when has GA been known for a shitty Offense and QB? LSU, ummm quite the opposite. If Fournette played in your O he would most like get just as many yards if not more than Chubb. Truth.

Because of this:

Statistical comparison of the league's top 2 backs:
I think there might be a little bit of argument as to who might be the top two backs. That's all. I'm not saying that will hold - I fully expect NC and LF to pull away - but if you were to look purely at the stats, DH deserves to be in any conversation regarding the "league's top X backs"

I'm not saying DH is good or bad. I'm saying he had 9 carries in a blowout.
He doesn't have the body of work to even be considered yet.

Why, because he was drafted in the second round instead of the first?
He ain't Gino Toretta. Sheesh.

Well, duh. But it is fun to get involved with some of the dumbassery sometimes.

Let's be honest here, Fournette definitely struggled, especially in the first half. He had a good second half though.
That's taking nothing away from him as he was the only LSU player with a pulse on offense. It wasn't a poor game, by any means, but I'd put it in the same category as OM and Arky from 2015. Struggled, but ended up with a decent stat line.
140 yards and no TDs is not up to his standards, and that's a fact.

I said Chubb had the better year in 2014 statistically.
Your point?

which should illustrate how elite he is, that 140 yards is considered a down game. pretty incredible.
