There are things known as touchdowns. They're kind of important in the game of football.

Has it been one game?

Also, last year's rushing defense rankings:

Wisconsin - 4th
UNC- 122nd

I'm sure LSU fans will run here to tell us all about how LF7 would be the GOAT with a good O line, conveniently ignoring UGAs average line that Chubb ran behind last season.

After watching these mindnumbing arguments for 2 years now, it's 100% clear that LSU fans will never lose the argument. The goalposts will constantly move to make LF the better back.

-2014, when pretty much every conceivable metric by which we can compare RBs had Chubb being the clear winner (in a year he didnt' start utnil october), LSU fans said stats dont' mean anything. Chubb was fresher, defenses were keying in on LF, he has more potential, Mason was the better QB to loosen up defenses, etc.

-2015, when LF had the edge in pretty much all stat categories, well now...just look at the stats bros! It's LF by a mile and it aint close

-2016, after oviously only 1 week but a week in which NC looked head and shoulders to be the better back...well Harris is garbage and nobody else stepped up and it was an away game and yadda yadda.

There is nothing that will ever convince lsu fans that chubb has ever, is, or may potentially end up being better.

Rational UGA fan here. It's one game. I think Wisconsin is a much better team than UNC. We will reserve the right to freak out and be super obnoxious until after the Ole Miss game if Chubb does great.

yes , that 38 yards would put him over the top.

Where did I say it would? But as it stands, LF had 176 yards, not 138

Its just been one game.

Chubb had a better freshman year, Fournette had a better sophomore year, and Chubb had better stats in 1st game this year.

But to ignore the fact UNC has one of the nations' worst rush defenses and Wisconsin has one of the best is asinine.

Also to ignore that LSU has maybe the worst offensive scheme in football is is asinine.

Both are elite backs. This is a stupid comparison after 1 week against very different opponents.

ETA:

2015 rushing defenses:

Wisconsin - 4th - 95 YPG - 3.13 YPC

UNC - 122nd - 247 YPG - 5.13 YPC

Chubb was playing the tarholes. Chizik's D.

They are both exceptional.

Defense, sure. Their offense is mediocre.

I guarantee you that fournette will go before chubb in the draft. in fact....I'd bet everything that I own on it.

if that doesn't tell you who is better, then nothing will.

Damien Harris over 15 YPC. Same rushing yardage as LF.

Harris
