Has it been one game?

Also, last year's rushing defense rankings:

Wisconsin - 4th
UNC- 122nd

funny how Fournette got zero credit for running all over an equally terrible defense against Tech in the bowl game

There is nothing that will ever convince lsu fans that chubb has ever, is, or may potentially end up being better.

I mean you could say the same thing for UGA fans. Maybe just maybe both backs are awesome

To be fair, a much higher percentage of UGA fans will say they are equal than LSU fans. At least on this board.

Many LSU fans have a hard time admitting that Fournette isn't hands down better. Both fan bases have a hard time admitting that Mac and cook, while different style of RB, are also right there with Chubb and Fournette.

The real question is... which OC is getting the most out of his RB talent?

So far, I'm leaning Chaney.

The comment was more tongue in cheek but one of those teams plays in a running conference while the other doesn't.

I guarantee you that fournette will go before chubb in the draft. in fact....I'd bet everything that I own on it.

if that doesn't tell you who is better, then nothing will.
Just like JaMarcus Russell?

UGA has a balanced offense so until Les creates more balance on O Chubb will put up better numbers. Everybody and their momma knows LSU will not pass the ball until 3rd down, and won't pass at all if there is 3 yards or less to go on 3rd down. If they both played with the same offense I think Fournette would be the better back, but splitting hairs IMO

52 rushes and 20 passes... Can't get more balanced than that... :smh:

If you are going to use last year as a reference, Derrick Henry had 13 rushes for 147 yards and 3 tds last year against Wisconsin. Kenyan Drake had 10 rushes for 77 yards and 1 td.

So let me see if I understand the premise of the OP. Is it that you can make a legitimate comparison between two RB's on different teams, in different schemes, with different o lines and playing difference opponents?
I don't know much about football, but it seems to me any conclusions drawn from such a set of circumstances would not be valid. Am I close?

Let me see if I understand your premise. You can only compare RBs if they play on the same team with the same o line against the same opponent.

Yeah. You're not close.

Dude. Stop. Please, just stop!

LSU ran the ball 29 times and passed 21 times Saturday.
UGA ran the ball 52 times and passed the ball 20 times. Look VERY, VERY closely, and tell me which offense was more balanced.

They are both great running backs and this argument will never, ever, never, never, ever, NEVER get settled.

All four of them are fricking awesome. Why is that not good enough for people? Fans so badly want to be able to say that their teams have the best of something, I guess.

And the expected excuses. Remember, that wasn't allowed last year, a yard was a yard.
