All offseason if you listened to LSU fans tell it they might as well have handed out the Heisman in August to get it over with. Funny how things have a way of working out. Statistical comparison of the league's top 2 backs:

Rush Yards:
NC- 222
LF- 138

Yards per attempt:
NC- 6.94
LF- 6.0

Rushing Touchdowns:
NC- 2
LF- 0

Long Rush:
NC- 55
LF- 30

LSU fans, tell us:

1) Is Chubb simply better than we imagined
2) Is fournette maybe not quite the demi-god you have made him out to be
3) Will Wisconsin undoubtedly win the national title this year since they are the best team in the country

I'm sure LSU fans will run here to tell us all about how LF7 would be the GOAT with a good O line, conveniently ignoring UGAs average line that Chubb ran behind last season.

Chubb plays in a better system and is arguably better than gurley.

Id say Leonard 1a and Chubb 1b

Prepare for completely irrelevant draft pick talk.

Watch both games instead of staring at statistics and you could easily see where the numbers come from. Our offensive line play will lose Fournette the Heisman, not Fournette himself.

Yeah, but compare their performances against Alabama last year.

Or we can use the Bama fan favorite of "Chubb ran against a terrible D".

Fact is Chubb looked great while Fournette struggled on a day where the rest of LSU's offense may as well have been on the sideline.

Wisconsin also traditionally has a much better D than UNC

So 6.94 is great

while Fournette struggled
While 6.0 is struggling

that .94 per carry is the difference between great and struggling?

We had 254 yds rushing against UNC last year if that tells you anything...

Should be noted that UNC most likely has a terrible run defense again.

Also, to not look biased or trolling, which I am sure you arent, you might want to add receiving yards
