You are blinded by your obsession or most of this has gone over your head. Both were good against the run, but questionable against the pass. It was never exposed because of the QBs in the league. Hell, Dre had two career Interceptions.

What IP is saying is he didn't think Swag or Mill were any good and not only were the GMs wrong, but so were the coaches who voted them All Conference and All Americans and so were the media members who did the same. If only the rest of the world could have seen the secondary on those BCSChampionship teams for what they were Alabama wouldn't be overrated and have the officials, holding, SEC Headquarters, ESPN and other media, including Verne and Gary, side walkers, and every other person sucking their sack.

Why can't you see this, it's all because of the overrated secondary.

What I am saying is their deficiencies as pass defenders were camouflaged by their DL and LBs, and the fact that they did not play against any great passers. The GMs and the press bought into what Saban was selling with these guys, it bite the GMs on the arse. Anyone wonder how Collins slipped to the second round last year. In previous years the GMs would have taken Nicks word on his talent and selected him in the top 15. Your overrated Secondary has shown it true skills the last two years

Dre had 3 picks in the last 3 games of the season and took one to the house. What CB was playing better at the end of last season? He is slated to start at left corner for Cincy this year too, BTW.

Again, your arguments are a joke. Both guys were lock down guys in every phase of the game in 2011. If you guys didn't put enough elite QBs out there to challenge them then that is your own damn fault, not ours.

So Saban just bullshitted everyone but you. Got it. I see you didn't address why the coaches voted these guys all SEc and all Americans.

We all know Saban swings a big dick, but he doesn't have the control over everyone that your paranoid tinfoil wearing hat thinks he does. ??

Why have some of the talking heads have described the Bama DBs as Pro Busts the last few years ? During those four years, the "experts' did not want to question anything Saban. The last two years have shown the chink in his armor both in the College and Pro Game. People are now looking closely at the product.

If he can win the SEC with John Parker Wilson, Greg McElroy and most of all Blake Sims at QB, I'm not concerned with that position.

He/Bama never won the SEC with JPW at QB...we won the SEC West in '08 but UF and Tebow beat us in the SECCG...

What the blue frick does what they have done in the Pros have to do with how bad arse Dre and Milliner were in 2011?

And what the hell do you mean a chink in Sabans armor in the Pro game even mean? He coaches a college team. Like I said, you are a paranoid.

Lighten up, Francis They were overrated and it took the Pro spotlight to prove it. Saban sells to recruits that he prepares them for the Pros. Many are finding out that he might get them there with his endorsement, but they are far from prepared.

Which ones exactly are finding that out? MFiztpatrick? T Brown? M Humphrey? Ect ect.

Only a paranoid would think that a couple of coache all sec and coaches all Americans that won 2-3 BSCChampionships were over rated in college.

Foolishness. The list of NFL starters coached by Saban is longer than any other college coach out there. Several are Pro-bowlers too. To act as if any program having a bust or two is abnormal is disingenuous and frankly retarded on your part. BTW, Saban has now won the Iron Bowl 5 of the last 7 years. How will you feel when he wins 6 of 8 with all of his overrated players?

I guess I hit a sore spot with you and Northern Cracker. Do not forget the Tubs won 6 in a row, so throwing 5 of the last 7 doesn't stick to the wall.
Those Pro-Bowlers were like the fourth alternate because most of the other player do not want to play in that game. The most overrated players on Bama's team over the years, just happen to be the position that Saban Coaches.

Not a sore spot, I just love destroying easy targets like you. Nice side step of the facts about starters and pro-bowlers. Just face it, Saban is a hall of fame coach, he recruits and puts players into the league as well or better than any and he has more titles than any coach in the modern era. And he is doing a damn fine job of restoring order in the Iron Bowl after Tubs took advantage of a probation riddled, Shula coached team. At least you do have those glory years to cling to!

Just amazing Saban has done all of this with overrated players. Makes his accomplishments more breathtaking, huh?

This Bama team will be the 1st team to repeat as SEC champs in over 15 years. The secondary will compete with Florida for best secondary. Eddie Jackson has moved to safety. He and Geno Smith are both former CBs so they are both comfortable in coverage.Cyrus is all SEC and is a dog. Tony Brown has taken the next step and adds elite speed and athleticism where Eddie Jackson lacked opposite Cyrus last year. Eddie is fully recovered from his ACL injury unlike last year and safety is a more natural position for him as its HS position. The talent and experience is there.

This front 7 rotation has 10 + guys who will play on Sundays. I can't stress how stacked and versatile Bama is up front.
