You realize why he was given that, right? It was discussed ad nauseum on here when it was announced. Do you really think that extension will save his job if he has another bad year?

No, anyone that was around in the Tubb's years got sick of winning 9 games, 8 games, 10 games, 8 games, etc...with not much to show for it. I would love to be more consistent and win the SEC at the same rate of the last 6 seasons, but given a choice between the consistency and the titles I would take the titles every single time.

Not to flame UGA but I know a lot of UGA fans that would trade the consistency for a win against Bama in 2012 which would have meant a BCS title.

He can recruit some DL prospects though. We whiffed on plenty and Bo Davis was cheating.

That's not a flame. It's a fact. I know a lot of UGA fans that would give anything for that victory in 2012.

He got to 2 national championship games as a coordinator and HC respectively.

Your level of grammar is infinitesimal.

In the quoted line above, you correctly state that CGM has been to 2 NC games, but you phrasd it as if he had been to 4 NC games, and you left out a much needed comma.

He has been to 2, one as an OC and one as a HC, winning one and lossing one, respectively.

Do you see what I did there? I used the word, "respectively," the way you intended to use it.

Please do it correctly next time, or lower your grammar level to the appropriate bammerism and stop trying to make yourself think you are better than you actually are.

What is gimmicky about Auburn? They're running the Delaware Wing T, an offense made by Tubby Raymond in the 1950's, in a shotgun formations. Their philosophy is block down, kick out, lead through. That's not gimmicky to me.

Auburn's offense is truly dangerous when they have a real running threat at QB who can pass just good enough. I believe JF3 can do that. With Jovon Robinson at RB, they will be a force.

Agree with the Jovon part. He is solid to really, really good.

JF3's arm we will have to wait and see.

it is to me. If it requires extra, then I'm out.

A player can go down, but the season doesn't have to go with him.

Yep, people forget that AU was ranked number three in the polls prior to the A&M Game. That years Defense forced a punt 19% of the opponents possessions. No , AU fans are not tied of Gus's gimmicky offense.
