You can since you think you have a point to prove. I'm not the one in this thread talking about one team hypothetically "humiliating" other teams.

Talk about revisionist history. The 2004 Auburn team won two games by fewer than 10 points during the regular season. Those two games were LSU and bammer.

the 2011 team went 13-0 going into the BCS title game. They had one game where they won by fewer than 13 points. Unfortunately, they didn't get a layup in their bowl game

Look at the final standings. LSU beat a good Arkansas, Bama and UGA team , the rest of the league was about .500 or below.

Auburn allowed 11.30 points per game in 2004. LSU allowed 11.28 points per game.

What does that make Auburn's 2004 defense?

LSU played teams that finished in the top 5 four times in 2011. The schedule LSU had was MUCH more difficult

In 2010 you took a mercy knee. It was a one-score game but we didn't have a chance of winning

eh, LSU had the ball with about 4-5 min left to tie the game. auburn stopped LSU on 4th. Yes it was a mercy knee to end the game, but LSU absolutely had a chance to win the game at the end

We also kind of embarrassed the Rose Bowl and Orange Bowl winners.

But whatever.

It's not really up for debate. All you have to do is look at their professional careers and compare to other great teams.

You try too hard btw. Subtly is a great tool.

The 04 standings were much worse. The only team auburn beat that year that can be considered good was UGA. Beating a terrible UT team twice who squeezed by bama and Zook-led UF while losing to an unranked Notre Dame at home is a complete embarrassment. Auburn went undefeated in the worst SEC out of all the seasons since.

No one takes you seriously. You think the 2004 Auburn first rounders were all busts.

Those numbers were off. Still, they played:

#2 Alabama TWICE (National Champions)
#3 Oregon (Pac 12 Champions, Rose Bowl winner)
#4 Arkansas
#12 Georgia
#16 West Virginia (Big East Champions, Orange Bowl winner)
#17 Florida
#19 Auburn
#25 Mississippi State

UT lost 3 games that year, two of them to AU. UGA was top 10.

The rest of Auburn's schedule:

LA Monroe (5-6)
MSU (3-8)
Citadel (3-7)
La Tech (6-6)
Arkansas (5-6)
Kentucky (2-9)
Ole Miss (4-7)
Alabama (6-6)

Auburn only had ONE opponent in the SEC West that finished with a winning record, and that was LSU, who finished with a 9-3 record.

Auburn and it's not even close. No QB for LSU.

This is hilarious that they're actually trying to compare the two teams.
