You're not using any sense of logic if you argue that the 2004 Auburn team would beat that 2011 LSU squad. That team was 1 game away from being universally recognized as the greatest football team of all time. But an Auburn team who played only 4 teams with winning records somehow beats them? Ehhhh...

If you lose a home game in November, you are not in the conversation. So Bammers trying to show greatness in 11 and 12 need to STFU.

LSU lacked s QB in 11, for that reason alone they would lose by double digits to 04 AU.

Yeah, I think a QB that started in the NFL for decade is a difference maker in college. Especially with NFL WRs to throw to and a two top 5 draft pick RBs behind him, and 3 pro bowlers in front of him on the OL.

LSU 2011 would have beaten the shite out of Auburn 2004. Is this thread real life?

2011 LSU defense is the 2nd best defense in college football history. Jason Campbell and Carnell Williams wouldn't make much of a difference.

I laugh every time you post because you upvote your own posts every time you need to say something. You don't even wait to make it look like someone else is doing it... It's like instantaneous

ATPBers gonna atpb. One of the worst bama posters on this site.

To answer op, I think 2011 LSU wins 7/3 or 6/4 times.

2011 LSU defense 11.2 points per game. 2004 Auburn 12. A ton of difference there.

You really can't compare for another 5 years until most of the guys off that LSU have gone through their NFL careers.

Go back and look at the 2004 Auburn roster. That team was uber talented and deep at every position. In terms of raw talent 2004 Auburn is up there with the 90's Nebraksa teams and early 2000's Miami teams and these Saban era Bama teams.

I didn't post in the ATPB thread a single time I don't believe, FWIW.

Now tell me the average ranking for the offenses each team faced

LSU beat like 4 different Power 5 conference champions that year.

It's funny how the legend of the 04 Auburn has grown over time and for no reason.

it really has. sure there was bitching about auburn getting left out but most people still thought USC was clearly the best team in the country. flash forward 10 years later and auburn 2004 is apparently one of the best teams in modern history.
