That girl was sick. everyone in the athletic administration failed on that one. Why make her sign that waiver while she is on suicide watch? The swim coach looked foolish.

Everyone knows you're a fricking illiterate, but do you need to start threads to remove all doubt?

OTL report on Mizzou swimmer. Had history of depression. Went into a tail spin when she was sexually assaulted.
It is obvious the swim coach wanted her off the team and place another swimmer in her place. Made the swimmer to sign a waiver to leave school when she was highly medicated and on suicide watch after she attempted to kill herself.
Bad timing and poorly handled. Also, documentation is going to crush the administration. Lawsuit surely easily won against Mizzou.

Without a link/backstory/quote, this really lacks context

Weren't the rapists in the football team, and now have been found guilty of sexual assault?
And nothing was done, when there was video evidence and everything.
I think this is what the OP is talking about.

Yeah, I know what the OP was talking about. Just my way of telling him this is a shitty thread

She claimed that she was raped by a FB player. Another FB player that she dated says he was shown a video of 3 FB players raping her.
And he then placed this tape in a relatives basement and said relatives accidentally threw the tape away so nobody else ever saw it.

Yeah that part is hard to believe.

This story is very sad and awful but the way espn is reporting is a hack job and a clear hit piece on the university

Yes, shitty thread and shitty situation.
What I got out of the OTL story was the swimmer, Sasha was really sick and depressed to the point of wanting to commit suicide. It seems the sexual assault was the situation that caused her to go over the edge. Was that athletic administration trying to force her out to protect the football players? Did the swim coach not want to put up her issues and blame it on a back injury (horse shite)? But, for the athletic administration to have her sign waiver papers to leave school while she was on suicide watch and heavily medicated was crap. The school did not follow the NCAA protocol of helping an athlete that had obvious mental issues and was pushing her off to the side.
Seems like the Mizzou Athletics was protecting a running back and wanted this issue to be pushed off to the side….which was not the focus of the OTL story.

If we want to be accurate….the swimmer and said FB player were good friends (not dating) who made that statement.
