Yeah looks like we peaked too early. Hopefully we can turn it around and maybe get a 2seed.

They answered being swept by sweeping someone else. That's what good teams do, they bounce back. In one weekend they went from 2 below .500 to being 1 game above.
Need to see them do that 2 weekends in a row. Not sweeping, but winning the series.

The only bad part....call it Bama will fall off the face of the Earth at some point.
LSU can certainly distance ourselves from the rest of the "contenders" in the next 2 weeks......hopefully we get a good performance at home vs. UK leading to the road trip to Fayetteville.

I too think Ark is still overrated, but they have played their way back into the conversation you can't deny that (although at this point wins against MSU don't look as good as they did 3 weeks ago)

Contenders/pretenders for what? The conference crown? National seeds? Hosting a regional? The National Title?
I would say that many of the teams listed are contenders for the natty, but may not be a contender for the conference crown. Thinking of some of the recent LSU teams and what they have done late in seasons. The SEC plays some serious fricking baseball.

Ole Miss took UPig in a series, and it is a little early to rush to judgment. You may very well be right but I would go there just yet.

Winning one series does not a season make.

We took 2/3 from Florida this week.
ETA: @UF similarly the series we beat Arky was a road win as well.

Arky is what? 1 game above us in the sec standings but you have arky as contenders but you're undecided about sc?

As I stated, more needs to be seen at this point.
You can't just forget about being swept at home. Your average is near the bottom of the league and your pitching , while improved against aTm, hasn't been stellar.
As I said, need to see it two weeks in a row.
