Here we go again. What have we done not to be on a list with LSU, ARK, KENT, Vandy, and maybe BAMA. ARK sure is hanging their hat on one series sweep in March especially against a team that is not even a contender(oh wait we were but now we arent). I guess the conversation for ARK is only from the SC series on. What have we done to not be considered a contender?? We had a rough series without some of our studs and bounced back, I'll hang up and listen.

The only ones who disagree are SCar fans.
As for Arkansas, we probably have the toughest start to the conference season than anyone in the league. We are 6-3 right now heading into week 4 against a hot Alabama team.
Arkansas could be one game better right now, but that's about it.
South Carolina was swept at home in their only true SEC test this season.

Save your breath man. He's right about the stats, and while our team is still an unknown, that's exactly what he's saying. He's not saying we're going to disappear into suckdom. He just wants to see some consistency out of us. Nothing wrong with that. I'd like to see the same.

Ive got plenty of breath. Just trying to understand what makes a contender? Guessing its just the last 10 days. Jimmies not rustled at all.

For one, OOC has nothing to do with being an SEC contender.
Winning 2/3 against a bad opponent and then getting swept at home for the first time in your stadiums history isn't a good start. Yes, you won this weekend, but more needs to be seen.
Your batting average in SEC play was dead last heading into this past weekend. Runs given up was 10th in the league heading into this weekend. It's going to take more than one weekend for SCar, as I stated ON THE FIRST PAGE

Im not saying we are the best, but we deserve to be on the shortlist of 4/5 contenders. No Jimmies Rustled just having some fun. However I have seen plenty of other fans on here express confidence that SC will be there at the end when it matters.

You may very well be, but I'm also sure most reasonable thinking SCar fans would agree that you will not if you keep hitting and pitching the way you have the first 3 series of conference play.

Hitting's the issue atm for the most with this team. Once Montgomery is back full-go we'll have 2 established guys on the weekend & hopefully if Holmes has another good midweek game he'll move back to Sunday to give us 3 legitimate starters once again.
Bullpens pretty shaky atm all we have really is Westy & Webb I myself am high on Britt & Fiori as well but after those 4 there's really no one left.
