Where have you seen that Scott Cochran might be out?

I have seen it posted here and other places that if Kirby goes, then Cochran could also go with him.

Promote Bo Davis, get a new ILB coach.

No idea, someone who is a really good OL coach though, not just a recruiter.

Again no idea. Napier gets a promotion maybe?

Where would he go? Unless you think he'd follow Kirby.

He has experience as an OC and seems to be doing well. I think he gets the first crack at the job.

Fwiw, the last article about the Miami job had a top 4, and Mario wasn't in it. Chudzinski seems to be the front runner.

I hope we keep Mario.

For Mario, I think his destination could be either Miami, UCF, or Rutgers

Cochran makes close to half a mil. I dont see him going anywhere unless he just wants a change. And i dont see that either as he appears to be very involved in ttown

Plus Cochran is a folk hero at Alabama. How many AVERAGE fans even know who the strength coach is at UGA?

He may leave, but I doubt it is a slam dunk.

and I think NS would make a financial offer to keep him as long as it is not an outrageous amount of money. Plus how much can most FB schools afford to pay a S and C coach. Not all of them make a profit like Bama does year in and year out

I'm not saying it's likely, I have just seen that possibility floated here and by our beat writers as well, so that's why it's on here.

Of all the changes on the coaching staff year in and year out, including some this year, none of them will hit me like it will if Cochran leaves. I think I might cry.

It will not surprise me if #Rutgers reaches out to Mario Cristobal. He is Alabama's lead recruiter in the area.

I'd triple Cochran's salary to keep him in Tuscaloosa.

Lol, that sounds so much like delusional UGA talk.

Yeah, Im shocked that UGA isn't at least trying the Tom Herman route to see where things go with him. Besides, it's easier to win right away with an offensive minded coach right away. Defense takes time to get the right personnel.

We may end up with Pruitt after all.

How does the Georgia S&C weight room compare to ours?
