So if the hire for DC is Pruitt we are gonna need a new LBer coach. Who do we target?

If no one else leave defensively, don't think they can hire anyone. Now if Tucker leaves, it makes it possible with Pruitt taking the DB job too.

Like Smart, Pruitt may find out he's a good LB coach despite his experience being mainly with DBs.

Regardless of a promotion, I doubt they'd let Lupoi handle all the LBs because it's different responsibilities. And this is a guy who already went from DL to OLBs.

Now if an opening is made, I'd throw out: Kevin Sherrer

Hadn't even thought about Sunseri.

He seems to be doing alright.

Pruitt is “tentatively” set to interview at Michigan later in the week, reported Mlive.com, citing a report by 247Sports. That would mean working for Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh, in what would certainly be a blend of fiery personalities. Pruitt has spent his entire football career, playing and coaching, in the deep South.

That's been the scuttlebutt around here as well. It's probably a ploy by his agent to make us cough up a little more money.

If Pruitt comes back, losing Tucker won't be a big deal.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Pruitt's dad coach high school football in Alabama?

How about James Willis. Did well his single year here. Currently a defensive assistant with the Saints.
