shite. My bad. Didn’t do my research.

I’ll leave my poor attempt up for posterity.

What reception does Lane Kiffin get Friday?

Does a packed stadium of 64,038 decide to boo?

Bonus question: does Tiger Stadium have more than the capacity of Vaught-Hemingway in attendance for WKU?

Granted, I'm mostly out of the loop with a lot of country, but in my opinion, last night was big for him. People like me have looked him up and see him now. You could probably come in here and tell me that he's way more popular than I realize, and I would believe you as well.

The ESPN app is AWFUL compared to YTTV. I mean awful.

I have said this for several years but the ESPN app went to shite when they moved it all together instead of having a separate "watch" app. Like overnight it was horrible and it's never really gotten much better.

Idk why but I've been thinking about this lately. Did you have the party yet? If not, what's the plan?

Is it just me or does it seem like there are way more IR and season ending injuries in football now?

Is it a product of how players are built and maintained now? Or is it just that the reporting is better and teams are more likely to rehab those injuries instead of letting a player play hurt?

Pricey and in this case you get what you pay for. Well worth the $ and all their accessories are top notch as well.

These look great but I can't justify spending $300 on this.

I do have a problem with spending money on shite I don't need so I'm not saying that I wouldn't buy the 4 wheeled one at some point though.
Entered your information into perplexity. Here you go. Some seem fun

Here are creative and engaging ideas to expand your outdoor clue hunt across your pond, trail, woodlands, and neighboring acreage, all in an hour-long adventure that will keep everyone moving and excited while minimizing cleanup responsibilities:

Kid-Friendly and Crowd-Pleasing Clue Sites
Water Feature Wonders: Near your neighbor’s waterfall/spring, set a unique challenge like a water riddle or ask participants to find a container suspended from a tree branch overlooking the springs.

Baseball Superstar Moment: Hide a clue in a baseball glove, cap, or signed ball that the pro will present when a certain ‘password’ is spoken, adding excitement to the autograph experience.

Pond’s Edge Perplexity: Float a sealed, brightly colored container within easy reach from the trail’s edge or tether a bottle under a dock or bridge to add a twist on retrieval.

Woodland Wonders: Up in the deep woods, use natural features like ‘the biggest pine,’ ‘crooked oak,’ or a downed log as clue stash spots. Hanging a container with orange tape ensures visibility but can also blend into fall colors.

Neighborly Network: If allowed, encourage guests to hike into your neighbor’s woods for the penultimate clue, perhaps with a task like “find the tree with the yellow ribbon” to make it interactive and memorable.

Interactive Challenges & Mini-Tasks
Nature ID Relay: Each clue requires identifying something natural by sight or sound (frog call, bird nest, wildflower).

Trivia at the Trail: Mix in local history or fun trivia about your area; solving the trivia unlocks the next clue.

Photo Checkpoint: Include a ‘snap a picture at this spot’ step; you’ll get fun photo mementos from the party.

Physical Feat: Require jumping, balancing, or stretching to reach a clue. For example, “stand on the log and look under the rock” or “climb two steps up the old lookout stand.”

Creative Containers & Clues
Wildlife Cam Twist: Plant a motion-activated trail camera that snaps a pic of the hunters as they retrieve a clue; the final clue is delivered as a printout of their photo moment.

Map Scramble: One clue could be torn into puzzle pieces and distributed between several containers before the woods, forcing collaboration at the next station.

Glow-in-the-dark Markers: If your party nears dusk, use glow sticks or UV-paint to mark clue locations.

Group Coordination and Cleanup
Required Retrieval: As planned, make retrieving every clue/container mandatory; offer bonus points or a prize for the fastest or most creative team. This will ensure all containers return to the start, so no litter is left behind.

Final Prize Reveal: Place the treasure just outside the house for the victory celebration so all clues return and cleanup is easy.

Sample Hunt Flow (60 Minutes)
Start at the house for rules and first clue.

Lead down the trail—first container to pond’s edge.

Waterfall/spring area for second clue.

Meet the pro ballplayer for autographs and next clue.

Deep woods or neighboring acreage for penultimate clue.

Return, collect all containers for the treasure at the finish.

These suggestions balance adventure, coordination, and memory-making while keeping the runtime and litter-to-zero goals intact.
Finally getting caught up on the meeting.

Felt like a bro fest at the end there.

I wish them all luck in their future endeavors. Dalton seems impressive and it sounds like this new structure will benefit the LSU system all around.

I will repeat what I said earlier and expand. Why did these students not put forth the effort to at least look semi-presentable when going in front of the board and being at this meeting. I'm not saying they had to wear a suit and tie, but a polo shirt at minimum would have been decent. Not wearing beanies and ballcaps.

will they return to the video?

From my limited experience, the executive sessions are closed door and then they will come back out to finalize and vote (if there is a vote)
quote:

“Do not publish” lol

The most Louisiana thing I've ever seen. Why does it feel like everything we do in this state is embarrassing?
Imagine wearing a beanie and a t shirt like this to a BOS meeting and expect to be taken seriously

what do you hope for most in the next game?

I just hope everyone has fun.

been told I don’t need to report

This happened to me earlier this year. I found out the night before. I didn’t tell anyone at work and went play golf.

Normally there’d be tons of media handwringing, crying about paying a football coach with a winning record this much money to go away

The only people I've seen crying have bright color dyes in some or all of their hair.
Basing it off of OP info, this is my list in no particular order.

Lane Kiffin - Lukewarm on this one. I wanted him before we hired BK. Not sure what we get for the price.
Dan Lanning - already makes over 10mil a year. what would we be comfortable offering that doesn't put us in the same boat as before?
Jeff Brohm - Makes 6mil. I like the hire if we can get him around 7.5 maybe. Buyout at 33 seems steep if LSU is on the hook for any of it.
Kenny Dillingham - Doubtful this guy leaves ASU. At 7.5, can we afford to give him a raise? My gut is that he gets an extension to keep him there very soon.
John Sumrall - Smart money is probably here.
Rhett Lashlee - I like this one as well
Matt Campbell - Meh
Kelvin Sheppard - Does this make sense? I think you get a decent salary here but does he want to be in college?

My personal preference is to get a young(ish) fresh face who gets the fan base excited that won't cost us 10 mil a year. I do understand that a school like LSU is now in the group of probably having to get a coach at or above 10/yr but I hate the idea of it. Can we do 5 years 70/80? I'm not a fan of getting another retread from a big school who is looking for a pay day.

re: Probate/Estate issue

I say this to everyone who has elderly or sickly family members:

Get your estate issues ironed out sooner rather than later. I've seen family members who hate each other have an amicable resolution after a family death because there was nothing either party could legally do to screw each other over. On the other hand, I've seen an otherwise "great" family implode over unresolved estate issues.

My point is, get your people to get this process done and save yourself of the stress and everything else after the person is gone. My family has always maintained that we don't care what you do with your stuff and/or money, just have a plan.
These people are some of the most nearsighted dumb people on the planet. I've done some work in the past with several government agencies and I was surprised at the amount of money that these plants and facilities pump back into the community. Let's just keep telling them to go screw themselves while they build industry in other parts of the country.

Go look and see who the largest taxpayers into the parish budget are. I am 100% certain it's not the Mt. Triumph Baptist Church.

Looks like the truck was pulling into a driveway or other roadway and stopped when he noticed an a-hole speeding on the right trying to pass.
