Sederious Bryant. He will be ok. Got knocked out and after xrays it appears it was just a concussion.
that's good, from the way his arms and legs were stiff when he went down, it looked like a neck injury and that's never good.
I missed most of the game but who was the Ole Miss defender that got carted off the field and is there an update about him? Hope he recovers well.

Please tell me you know this is satire.
I'm really hoping it is but when I saw the article I didn't see any disclaimers to the website being satire like other fake news site have. I'm in a mobile device so maybe it was hidden but the mobile site looks legit. Either way, I hope it ain't real.
Wow, I'm speechless. Either way it goes, it's gonna LINK be bad.
Murray goes before AJ and Mett... Undrafted FA or a 2nd rd to the Jets.

Blatant pass interference by Bama

Or a clean play by the Bama DB while he was making a play at the ball? Hand makes contact with the face mask while he looking for the ball but he gave up on the ball and turned to the WR with his hand still on the face mask and the ball hit him in the back of the head. Clean play or PI?

It's called the Ellis T Johnson award.
It would be the Ellis T. Jones III Award For Individual Achievement. And a school can't win the Fulmer Cup with only one arrest, that's known as the Ellis T. Jones III Rule.

Who won the Fulmer Cup?

Anybody keep tabs on this?

If Saban is shown the door...

If an investigation goes bad for Saban and he leaves Bama, I would love to see him go to Michigan just to piss Meyer off. It would probably make Meyer go into another early retirement only to take the job at USC when Kiffen gets the boot.

Seems about right.
Neyland Nancies was the first thought but that Buttchugger Brigade is pretty damn good.

I wonder how many would admit to receiving improper benefits on an anonymous survey.
If the SEC has adjusted to A&M, just imagine how bad it's gonna be for Mizzou, they sucked last year and now it's only gonna get worse.

Charity softball tourney for an active duty Soldier with terminal cancer in LA  (Posted on 5/30/13 at 11:01 pm)00
Hey fellas, I know Baton Rouge is a ways away but I also know a lot of y'all live all over the state. It for a friend and I'm gonna do all I can. Please read.

There is a charity softball tournament this Sunday June 2nd at the Soldiers Athletic Complex on Fort Polk(Next to Leesville). ASA slow pitch rules(no metal cleats), co-ed or not, it doesn't matter. You can field all men, all women or a mix.

This is to benifit an active duty Soldier that has been recently diagnosed with terminal kidney cancer. The Drs have given him a year max but he is going through trial treatments. Because they are trials and not approved through his health insurance provider, it's out of pocket cost.

The entry is $10 per player and due before the first game Sunday at 9:00am. I'm sorry I don't have more info but the two women that have coordinated this event have royaly screw the pooch. They had no clue what they were doing but would not accept help from people that did know because they are completly in it for the recognition and praise of doing this. It's going to fail and this Soldier is a friend of mine.

I'm afraid because these two women screwed up, only 2-3 teams will show up. Most of the post league doesn't know about it, the units stationed here never got word, the league off post never got word, it's going to fail. I'm sorry to say it but I had a couple local business owners ready to donate money for the winning team, tshirts and trophies but these two women told me to piss off that they had it under control. So unfortunatly there will probably be no prize for the winning team, this would be an event that you can buy into purely out of the goodness of helping people in a time of need.

I'm trying to get the word out because the sorrow I would feel for my friend from a botched charity event greatly outweighs the joy of watching these ladies fail.

So if you got a team near the area this Sunday June 2nd and wanna play, let me know and post here. I'll tell the ladies that we have more teams. Let your local league know also! Thanks

It's not Veteran's Day. This Day is for those that cannot say thank you. Those that gave they're all. To those, I say thank you. Edit: didn't mean to sound dickish......just a pet peeve.
I was just coming in here to say the same thing. The support means a lot but unfortunately Memorial Day can't be celebrated by those it honors.
I will not discuss any current allegations but they have brought some questions to mind. I really hope we can discuss this without calling out any schools except SMU and any other programs that have actually received the death penalty in any sport(for historical references). So I have questions about TV contracts, revenue and scheduling. IF a team got the death penalty, how would it affect conference TV contracts? Is there a clause in it for such a circumstance? Would the penalized school receive any, even a very small slice of conference revenue to help them get back together? Would the remaining conference schools split up the penalized schools share or would the conference bank it? Or would the network keep the share and give the conference less money during the years of the schools program being shut down? What about scheduling? A big conference can shuffle some conference games around and add another cross division game but what about smaller conferences that already play a round-robin? It would be hard to find a non-conference opponent on short notice. If conference schools could not find an opponent on short notice, would the NCAA grant waivers for them to only play 11 games and be bowl eligible at 5-6?
