We've had several good technical basketball coaches that didn't succeed here
Go ahead and list them. If you are including the current coach, just remember that he is 16-60. That's not on the fans.

I just don't get why they lose so much money and the Men's team with 2,000 fans make money?
All about the TV contract. The same reason baseball doesn't make as much money as men's basketball.

This is an ignorant take. We are missing out on millions in new potential revenue with a competent coach. In fact, if we keep him, we will bring in even less revenue than what we are now.
re: MBB isn’t a blue blood, but in year 4 the team still won’t make the tourney. Pack it up!

And the NIL resources had to be increased to compensate for his coaching incompetence. In other words, it takes far more money to get a guy here and sacrifice his development.

She was undoubtedly the worst hire in LSU history. McMahon is now making a case for the 2nd worst hire in history.
No, he is far worse. She made the tournament a couple of times. He will go down as one of the worst basketball coaches in the history of the SEC.

They existed with the previous coach. The well dried up when we hired a loser.
The money that could have bought him out was wasted on a more expensive version of the same bullshite. Thanks Scott

They found money to give MM for NIL since he wouldn’t raise money on his own. They should shake the same trees to end this bullshite a year or two later than it should have ended.

Time to end Woodward’s self imposed McDeath penalty

Yes, we were competing in the SEC (and won it in 2019) as recently as 2022 until Scott Woodward self-imposed a death penalty upon the program.

McHallman is far worse than either TJ or JJ. He will go down as one of the worst in SEC history.
Relative to other LSU sports, he is comparable to Curley Hallman.

6300 tickets sold. There haven't been more than 3,000-4,000 at any game this season.

Great idea. We won't get any revenue distribution from basketball and then baseball (and whatever other sports "where it belongs") will have less.
