Yeah - You're prolly right, but I still consider a Mizzou a longshot. I'd want at least 10-1.

Well, they're in and one is the reasons is they won the match race in College Station. Lol

Let me ask the opposite. Would you bet $30 to win $1 on Bama? Are you that confident in them?
I'm lowering my odds to 20 to 1. That's prolly more accurate.

Ok - I get it. Thanks.
Ok - so if Mizzou and Alabama played in a football game, what sort of odds would you need to bet on Mizzou? I'd want 30-1.

Keep in mind there's only two horses. I'd want 30-1 odds if I bet on Mizzou.
What say you?
What say you?

True. What exactly is their recruiting base now? Chicago?

Mizzou goes to SEC and wins back-to-back Division titles.
Lol

I've been to the CWS a few times and college ball is fun to watch, but it simply doesn't compare to the big leagues from a talent standpoint. I don't have exact stats, but let's say 1/3 of big league players played some form of college ball, while the other 2/3's either went straight to the minors out of high school or come from latin america.
To put in your terms, why would i get wrapped up in PAC 10 level football games when I have the SEC in my own backyard.
The speed, power, pitching, fielding just isn't the same. Also, the DH and aluminum bats is for non-baseball purists. Those two elements are turnoff for this "true" baseball fan.
Also, I litterally watch 140 plus Cardinals games a year on TV and attend at least 10-15 in person....and attending 10-15 big league games in person isn't cheap when paying big league beer prices.
I'm cool with you being proud of SEC baseball and all that, but trying to tell Cardinals fans what real baseball fans are is a joke.
I'm also ok with you saying you'e a bigger "SEC baseball" fan me, but i HIGHLY doubt you're a bigger "baseball" fan than me.

re: Has Notre Dame complained about having to play Bama in the BCSNCG?

No. You should study the history of ND. Ever since Knute Rockne, ND has wanted and willing to play the best. We think playing the best teams in the country make us better. We played Army and Michigan 80 years ago because they were the best. We put USC on the map and kept playing them as they got better. We've played regular season games agains Texas, Texas A&M, Penn St. Florida, Miami, Tenn, LSU and on and on.
ND will play anyone, anywhere, anytime.
ND relishes the challenge in playing Alabama.
If you're looking for a school that wants to go 12-0 playing a bunch of paties, look elsewhere.

I just read Alabama claims the 1973 NC...

..even though they lost to an undefeated ND team in the Sugar Bowl.
Wow - that's both funny and pathetic.

You want us.
We want you.
America wants us both.
First things first though. We need to take care of those puke Trojans and you have to drop lowly Auburn and those nobody's from Athens.
Here's to both us taking care of business.
