I was talking about Stallings. I think Bear is safely in the great coach category.

Kinda figured that...Stallings had 1 good season at A&M when he won the '67Southwest conference title ( and then beat the Tide/Bryant in the 68 Cottonbowl). Even then A&M went into the bowl with a 6-4 record. After that season everything went south quickly. The only saving game worth remembering was the 1970 LSU game in baton rouge when Hugh McElroy caught a pass from Lex James and scored a 79yd TD with 13 secs on the clock and beat lsu 20-18. I was there and none of us could believe it. Stallings went on to lose most of his games as coach and was run off eventually ( I remember him being burnt in effigy at 1972 mid week rallys) going to the Dallas Cowboys as a DB coach followed by his Tide job. But he isn't to blame totally...hard to recruit to A&M back in those days and I guess we didn't write big enough checks.

Is he thought of as a great coach or just a lucky one with some good seasons?

Stallings or the Bear?

For this year's team? Give me Kevin Smith. We need an elite lock down corner.

Smith is a good choice but I will better you one..

Lester "the molester" Hayes

Fast and had the best bump and run we ever fielded..could play corner or safety...

If they would have stayed in the Big 12, they could have competed for a championship this year, they are THAT good,...but, they can't beat the top tier teams in the SEC. They might score 13 on LSU, maybe

So when we spank you at Kyle tomorrow tell me exactly what tier will that put the kitties on...
I re-submit the stop turning day as Oct 10

Lies miles stated in his post game presser last sat that death valley is the place where teams come to have their dreams die...

Welcome to Kyle field kitty...it's your wake up call
