As long as the scholarship situation remains what it is in college baseball, Florida will be a better job than South Carolina. Florida is one of if not the best states for high school baseball. Florida can offer all of those kids in state tuition. There aren't enough good high school players in South Carolina to build a championship program.

UF fan support for baseball isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. The main reason fans don't show up for the Super Regionals is that it's 95 degrees and there almost always will be a rain delay. And the stadium has no shade. Gainesville is also not a big town, most of the students are gone for summer by the time the Supers roll around.

He's potentially the No 1 overall pick in 2018. When he's on I think he's actually better than Faedo. He's just not nearly as consistent as Faedo. He's had off days where he's gotten shelled but he's been pretty on recently.

Your post makes no sense. You say here's why they won't get in with one loss and then list a scenario where they lose 2 games.

If anything it's the opposite. The D is loaded with talent and playmakers but you could easily see Florida dropping a game because of it's young Oline or QB. Florida's ceiling is probably winning the East.

Florida has their boards which remained really active even during the Chump years. There just wasn't a lot incentive to come over here and listen to other fans talk about how much we suck.

Rockeys is the dueling piano bar and is one of my favorite bars in Gainesville. It might be a little dead on Friday night because Thursday is their big night. It's definitely safe for opposing fans. Last year some Bama fan paid $100 for Roll Tide to be written on the chalkboard behind the pianos. The bars in downtown tend to be a little classier and more refined then the bars in midtown so they might be safer than the midtown bars. Tall Paul's downtown is also another pretty good bar. They have a huge selection of good beers on tap.

If you can tolerate hipsters the top has great food. They have some of the best burgers I have ever had. They have plenty of great food that isnt vegan but expect a long wait.
